Minneapolis favorites Purple Funk Metropolis and BZ3 Organ Trio lock in with raw funk, blazing horns, and Hammond B3 heat, while Colorado’s The Burroughs turn up the energy with their full throttle “sweaty soul” and electric stage presence. Hipshaker MPLS keeps the dance floor alive between sets spinning rare funk and soul cuts on original vinyl. The second annual WTF Fest.will be a mid-summer blowout Saturday, July 11th at Hook and Ladder Theater in Minneapolis. The event spotlights queer, trans, and femme punks in the Twin Cities. We aim to fight the political climate of oppression of gay and trans people by showcasing the powerful music and voices of the scene.
