EVENT DESCRIPTION
The Great Dying, Trading Faces, & Folios
w/ Trading Faces, & Folios
Will Griffith, known musically as The Great Dying , is a Mississippi Delta born, country singer-songwriter residing in Oxford, MS. Will’s first release as The Great Dying, Bloody Noses & Roses(2018) was released courtesy of Dial Back Sound, a production company and label located in Water Valley, MS. More recently, The Great Dying recorded a new song “Writing a Song in Blue Ink” in tribute to musician, singer and poet David Berman (of Silver Jews and Purple Mountains)
Trading Faces is a modern classic rock band. Influenced by the sounds of the 70s + the riffs of the 90s. Shimmering three part vocal harmonies and guttural, grungy guitar licks are combined to create a completely new yet familiar sound you can dance to
Folios Lo-fi cardigan rock from St. Paul, MN. If Low and The Lemonheads shared a practice space in 1994 and released a split 7″. Sad music for people who…like books. New project from veteran Minnesota songwriter Martin Devaney.
