Over the years\, their style and sound has constantly evolved without changing the core value of their performance ability. With musical influences ranging from every which way\, Timisarocker prides itself in not sounding like anyone or anything else. As a band\, Timisarocker creates music that crosses many different genres in hopes to get their songs stuck in your head. They are all about breaking down barriers and advocating for those who suffer from mental illnesses\, hoping that their music brings them peace of mind and reassures them that they are not alone. \nGrrrlstomp (formerly known as Riotgrrrldarko) is a 24-year-old self-announced Lady Rager. Born and raised in Minneapolis\, Minnesota\, Darko pushes boundaries bringing a fresh grunge and gritty sound with explicit lyrics to match. The artist proclaims the genre as Grime Core music; often consisting of frenetic trap drums and 808s combined with a hypnotic synth stab to create most instrumentals. Clever verses resolve undeniably catchy hooks\, putting a whole new spin on the classic ’90s “Riot Grrrl” movement. Riotgrrrldarko proves that women don’t always have to be perfect and poised to get the attention they deserve! \nObiora Obikwelu\, otherwise known as Obi Original\, is a Nigerian producer & artist. Being surrounded by music all his life\, he finds inspiration from all genres\, yet fiercely believes that Africa is the home of music\, causing him to form Ozone Creations. The thought of creating a home for Afro-Fusion within the United States has been a dream for him and he is ecstatic to show the world what he and others are capable of creating. \nGhost Kitchen is a cool indie band from Minneapolis\, MN.

The station went on the air in 1978 with studios located in Walker Church and has been the voice of the community ever since. KFAI is curating an evening of music and fun for this birthday bash.\n \n\nThe Muatas (Ayanna and Cam Muata) are a duo that writes\, produces\, and performs their own music. Their style is a mix of post-punk\, trip hop\, dark wave\, shoe gaze\, and electronic with a mixed sound of sampled and programmed beats\, layered with synthesizer\, guitar and bass guitar\, ambient strings\, and vocals that often range between the melodic and spoken.\n \nThe Real Chuck NORAD is a Minneapolis based musical group providing a soundtrack to a dystopian future we deserve. They try on the music of bands they like because it’s fun. They also like playing songs for the future that they  write on their own spaceship. Band members include Chris Hepola drums\, Paul Perez percussion\, Josh Granowski bass\, Albert Perez guitar\, Matty Harris tenor\, Nathan Berry trumpet/trombone\, and Jenna Wyse vocals.\n \nMad Mojo Jett is an All-Star party-rock\, garage-trash\, doom-pop quartet from Minneapolis. The band features Mady and Monet from The Toxenes\, Joe from Low Rats\, and Eric from JettKick. \n\n=======The Award-Winning* Under the Canopy series at The Hook & Ladder Theater returns with its uniquely seasonal urban footprint to the Longfellow neighborhood of South Minneapolis in 2023. *Voted Best in MN 2021 by StarTribune readers.—–The Hook has committed to having a food truck Under the Canopy throughout the 2023 season for our guests.Come hungry and enjoy dinner with the show!\n

Over the years SLRJ has contributed to many important legal reforms to transform how mistakes by youth are treated\, that is\, to move away from a punishment model to one that treats “youthful behavior” as opportunities for learning and making amends.\n\n \n—–\nThe Award-Winning* Under the Canopy series at The Hook & Ladder Theater returns with its uniquely seasonal urban footprint to the Longfellow neighborhood of South Minneapolis in 2023. *Voted Best in MN 2021 by StarTribune readers.—–The Hook has committed to having a food truck Under the Canopy throughout the 2023 season for our guests.Come hungry and enjoy dinner with the show!\n

He represented the fourth generation of country music’s most legendary family — hence his nickname\, “IV” — and the pressure to launch his own career was enormous. Although Coleman would eventually make his mark with Southern Circus — the genre-bending debut from his band\, IV and The Strange Band\, combining southern storytelling and country textures with 100-watt guitar amps and DIY attitude — he needed to break free first and discover his own musical approach along the way. Southern Circus is his homecoming: an album that finds him not falling into a legacy\, but earning it. \nDJ Dan Lansing is a curator\, promoter and rock n roll DJ who has gone mental and lived to tell the tales. \nThis show is brought to you in part by REAL PUNK RADIO

A tale of the beauty\, adventure\, discovery\, love lost and found\, life and death\, an observation of human nature with its promise\, quirks\, and flaws. It’s a travelogue of the sights and nuance two lane travel offers to those who are aware and slow down enough to have these memories and experiences engraved on you for a lifetime. Grab your shades\, a loved one\, and your thirst for adventure and come along on a road trip down the Two Lane Highway. \n\n“This sophomore outing does not disappoint. Every track has a mile-wide groove. The band honed its traditional sound in 2014 with their debut album Chicken Wire Empire. With half of the group rooted in bluegrass\, and the other half steeped in jamband music\, a change occurred when CWE performed an Old & In The Way tribute show. A new sound was found in Milwaukee\, and Chicken Wire Empire joined the roster of high energy acoustic music happening across the nation.  This journey from traditional to progressive was documented by director Ross Monagle in the film ”All It Takes\,” premiering in 2016 at the Oriental Theatre in Milwaukee. Recorded and mixed by sound engineer Sam Donoghue\, the film follows the band around Wisconsin and includes performances in Milwaukee’s historic Riverside Theatre.  In 2018\, the band returned to the studio\, recording their sophomore album “What Moves Mountains” at Axis Recording Studios with engineer Vinny Millevolte and the mastering talents of Justin Perkins. With support from their family and friends\, What Moves Mountains was released January 1st of 2019. \nDeep Space\, Light Speed\, Bluegrass!\nDust from the years of performing has coalesced to form Buffalo Galaxy. Each member brings with them a tradition of Bluegrass and American music as their launchpad\, creating moments of energy and intensity generated by light-speed bluegrass\, while exploring the deep-space between emotions. In their three years as a band\, Buffalo Galaxy has played over 200 shows around the greater midwest and Rocky Mountains. They have shared the stage with the Kitchen Dwellers\, Dead Horses\, and Daniel Donato. The band has brought their signature style to some of the regions finest festivals like Blue Ox\, Boats and Bluegrass and many more. Buffalo Galaxy released their debut album “New Escape” during 2020 and their follow up will be out in early 2023. Buffalo Galaxy is ready to burn bright in the bluegrass universe!\n \n\n \n\nDust from the years of performing has coalesced to form Buffalo Galaxy. Music\, dance\, words\, and stories will bring out all that hides beneath. \n\n\n \nFreaque is for the derelicts\, the heretics\, the tree stumps\, and those who live on the fringes of society. A tattered voice\, made of strung out words\, hung to dry over broken chords on his mother’s piano. His songs range from the kind of folk and blues you find in graveyards and gardens\, to fuller grooves you can find in swamps\, sewers\, and junkyards. In a wooden womb of darkness\, he took what he had and rose above a society that constantly tells us we are not enough\, that we’re only worth the possessions we own\, the money in our bank accounts\, and our body’s abilities. We do not have to conform to societal standards to be valued as human beings. That is why he creates music and art. \nHouse Band – Freaque: @freaquedom https://gabrielrodreick.com/freaque
