Proceeds from this event will go to Rock The Rez\, a 5-day music camp for Indigenous girls\, Two-Spirit\, and LGBTQ+ youth in Minnesota and South Dakota. After being awarded a McKnight Fellowship in 2006\, Aaron assembled an improvisational touring group to play his music\, and AKDC was born.—-Equally at home in a wooded glade or on a cabaret stage\, Carlisle Evans Peck’s music conjures a melancholia of intense beauty. By turns explosive and intimate\, these are songs that will at once break your heart and soothe with a balm of haunting melodies.
