A true multi-instrumentalist\, Malone has performed on trombone\, trumpet\, saxophone\, tuba\, flute\, and more\, bringing his powerhouse brass sound to decades of recordings\, television\, and live performances alongside some of music’s biggest names.—American Soul is a fitting brand for Mark Joseph; since his 2017 album by that title\, he has charted a relentless and soulful course through America\, and Americana\, from blues to country to psychedelic rock and everything in between. Mark has also been a full-time member of legendary MN Jam act The Big WU for 14 years and is a founding member of The Dire Wolves and Momentary Lapse of Floyd. \n=================Steeling Dan has been a fixture on the Minneapolis music scene since 2002. Specializing in the music of Steely Dan and Donald Fagen\, this 13-piece band spans the complete range from flawless execution to unique reinvention. For any true music fan\, the music of Steely Dan needs no introduction. Renowned for their impossibly perfect production value\, complex and cynical songwriting style\, and a who’s-who of A-list session musicians coloring their albums\, the brainchild of Donald Fagen and Walter Becker has set a high standard in the oeuvre of modern music.\n\n\n \n\nThank you to our sponsors\, partners\, & neighbors: \n\n\nSummit Brewing • RKR Ganja Beverages  • Tito’s Handmade Vodka • Jameson Irish Whiskey  • High Noon • Lucky One Lemonade • Nobool Presents • The Zen Arcade  • Longfellow Rising • Lake Street Council • KFAI 90.3FM • Firehouse Perfroming Arts Center • Moon Palace Books • Arbeiter Brewing   \n\nThe Award-Winning* Under the Canopy series at The Hook & Ladder Theater returns with its uniquely seasonal urban footprint to the Longfellow neighborhood of South Minneapolis in 2025.\n \nThe Hook has committed to having a food truck Under the Canopy throughout the 2026 season for our guests.
