Their emotionally charged\, high energy performances are not to be missed. \nDavey has also toured extensively as a solo artist and as keyboardist for rock hall of famer Eric Burdon. In addition\, he has toured as a member of the San Francisco rock band The Stone Foxes. \n“Scrappy string-based freak-folk\, featuring songs like ‘Meat Raffle Mambo\,’ ‘Wisconsin Saturday Nights’ and ‘Jesus Shaves’ that both revere and good-naturedly poke fun at state culture — [The Driftless Revelers] may remind listeners of Lou and Peter Berryman or even the old Free Hot Lunch! band.” –Isthmus Magazine\, Madison\, WI. \n”It’s a little ‘out there’: Driftless Revelers release American Fork Standards –Volume One Magazine\, Eau Claire \n“Jack Black ran so these guys could stumble” — Nick\, Announcer at Sol Grass Music Festival 2024 \nThe Driftless Revelers formed in the second spring of the first global pandemic of the 21st century\, with one ear turned toward the shellac platters and Victrola virtuosos of the early to mid 20th century\, and the other ear glued to the soundscapes of the 1960’s & 1970’s American freak-folk scene. \nSince their debut tour in 2021\, the band has billed with Grammy winning bluegrass legends like Tim O’Brien & the Gibson Brothers\, toured extensively throughout the Upper Midwest performing with other amazing artists like Big Richard\, Willy Tea Taylor\, and had breakout performances at several festivals and events (Sol Grass Music Festival\,  Mile of Music in Appleton\, WI. featured in Rolling Stone Magazine). \nThese Eau Claire\, Wisconsin based weirdos have earned a cult following of devoted fans from Minnesota to Michigan who appreciate their irreverent\, highly original\, and sometimes slightly psychedelic interpretation of American roots music with a Midwest twist. Their live show banter and thoroughly entertaining sets have earned them comparisons to Ween\,  Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show\, They Might be Giants\, Tenacious D\, Cheech & Chong\, and the Holy Modal Rounders. Their debut record\, American Fork Standards (2022)\, was well received by their family members\, and a few other people who said nice things about it. Their most recent record\, Live at the Slowpoke Lounge & Cabaret (2024) captures the band’s deadpan comedy and musical chops in a lounge environment that demands a proper listen in a leisure suit with a scotch & Pall Mall.

Local indie pop band KYM and the Kick invites you to celebrate the release of their energetic freshman album “The Gift of Feeling.”  This ten-track album is the band’s ode to feeling deeply in a culture that suppresses our feelings at every opportunity. Supported by Alonzo and Poison Ivy and the People\, this night is for lovers of queer pop and art as resistance! \n \nKYM and the Kick is a cheeky\, queer indie pop band from the Twin Cities\, MN. After releasing their EP ‘Not 4 U’ in 2020 under the band’s solo name\, KYM and the Kick step into their new era with equally danceable indie pop tracks. KYM’s dreamy vocals and layered harmonies are well-complemented by their band’s funky bass lines\, dynamic drum fills\, and 80s synth pop melodies. \n \nAlonzo is 3 friends who like to have fun. Their sounds range from bossa nova\, easy listening to disco to incidental television music. They enjoy being the wallpaper for any good-time event. From a beginner to an advanced listener\, Alonzo has something for everyone.\n \nPoison Ivy And The People is a five piece theatrical rock band based in Minneapolis\, MN\, and fronted by Ivy (aka Charleigh Wolf). Themes of mental illness\, profound existentialism\, big questions about the world\, and social change give listeners an inside view into Ivy’s abstract inner monologue. Ivy’s extensive background in theatre lends itself to highly dramatic performances that captivate audiences and leave them thoroughly entertained.
