You should come and hear them. And you’re right\, it’s not an orchestra. More like a banjo-harp-gentle-rockin-happy machine. They don’t know what to call it\, but they want everyone to know about it. The music has a lot of light in it. They try to play beautiful songs from all eras. Plus a ton of Matt’s own songs dating from the beginning of his songwriting quest right up to the present. Quillan Roe of The Roe Family Singers\, Matt Wilson\, Jacques Wait who touches all music in Minneapolis\, and harpist Phala Tracy.\n \nChristy Costello is a mover and a shaker in the Twin Cities Music Scene. She’s a songwriter\, multi-instrumentalist\, disc jockey\, talent buyer\, promoter\, mother\, and yogi. Hailing from the Iron Range of Northern Minnesota\, she is no stranger to the great outdoors. Her music blends the ferocity and rawness of nature’s elements\, the new and exciting energy of a house show\, mixed with the adrenaline rush of an all-night downtown disco. Her first-rate songwriting has been showcased in previous bands like Pink Mink and Ouija Radio\, as well as her raw and unforgettable stage performances in Monica LaPlante\, Butchers Union\, The Von Bondies\, and Extraterrestrials. This is Christy’s turn to step to the front. Christy’s current lineup includes Monica LaPlante (bass)\, Orion Treon (guitar/synth)\, Austin Cecil (drums)\, and Matt Pahl (sax/auxiliary instrumentation).

SUMMARY:Hamell On Trial with special guest: Ruth Theodore
DESCRIPTION:EVENT DETAILS \n\n RSVP ON FACEBOOK\n \n\n\n	\n \n\n	\n	\nThe Hook and Ladder Theater \n\nDoors 7:30pm :: Music 8:00pm \n21+\nGA*: $15 Advance / $20 Day of Show\n \n\n\n*Does not include feesNO REFUNDS \n\n COVID-19 Policies\n \n\n \n \n\n	\n\n	\n \n \n \n EVENT DESCRIPTION \n\n	\n \n\n	\n	\nHamell On Trial\nwith special guest: Ruth Theodore\n  \nHamell On Trial returns to the Hook & Ladder along with special guest Ruth Theodore. Hamell on Trial is the musical alias of New York-based folk punk hero Ed Hamell. A one-man explosion\, he is loud-as-war one minute\, stepping off the microphone to whisper to an enthralled audience the next. This is a dynamic performance informed by politics\, passion\, intelligence and the all-important sense of humor. \nHis caustic wit and devil-may-care attitude have long been a favorite of anti-establishment icons Aesop Rock\, Kimya Dawson\, Ani DiFranco\, and the critical elite inciting Rolling Stone magazine to call him “Bald\, bold\, and superbad!” Henry Rollins says “Hamell is a one-man rock show!” He has been described as “Bill Hicks\, Hunter S. Thompson\, and Joe Strummer all rolled into one” by Philadelphia Weekly and a “one-man Tarantino flick: loud\, vicious\, luridly hilarious\, gleefully and deeply offensive” by the Village Voice. \n“He plays a 1937 Gibson guitar with a jackhammer force that makes you wonder how it doesn’t fall apart. The powerful\, profane\, hilarious\, one-man wrecking crew known as Hamell On Trial.” – Brian Cornish \nHamell tours the world constantly\, seemingly enjoying every performance challenge. From larger stages and theaters\, winning the coveted Herald Angel Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival\, to house concerts and DIY underground spaces\, this is a man who clearly loves to play. Armed with a battered 1937 Gibson acoustic guitar that he amplifies mightily and strums like a machine gun\, a politically astute mind that can’t stop moving\, and a mouth that can be profane one minute and profound the next\, with Tackle Box\, Hamell sets his sights on the new America and issues personal and spiritual. His performances invoke thoughts of the great\, rebellious satirists and social commentators of the past: Lenny Bruce\, Richard Pryor and Bill Hicks. Hamell is a great mind with acoustic punk rock mixed with a seeker’s soul. There’s no way around his obscenity but in that is a willingness to fight for the free thinkers of the world. Don’t we need that now more than ever? \nRuth Theodore has just signed an exciting record deal with Ani Difranco’s Righteous Babe Records in the USA and is on her debut tour of the US this spring to celebrate the release of her highly anticipated 5th studio record – ‘I Am I Am’ \nShe’ll perform from the new album which is the fruits of her ongoing collaborations with Grammy and Tony award winning bassist/producer Todd Sickafoose (Hadestown) and Swiss American percussion virtuoso Mathias Kunzli (Regina Spektor)\, recorded in upstate New York by Eli Crews (Tune-Yards). \nTheodore will also perform tracks from her critically acclaimed back catalog\, archived in the British Library for its contribution to British music. Theodore is an enigmatic performer and has performed her music in iconic venues in the UK including the London Palladium and Glastonbury Festival. \n“The last time I played the London Palladium Ruth Theodore was on the bill with me. I watched from the wings inspired by her authenticity\, her connection with my audience\, and her free artistic spirit. That night I saw her as a true Righteous Babe. Last fall\, when she reached out with her new album\, it seemed the perfect time to reunite and help introduce her to North America.”— Ani DiFranco“Britain’s answer to Ani DiFranco”- Red Guitar Music \n“Her tales leave you breathless” ★★★★ Mojo

Thursday\, July 11 is presented as a partially seated listening show environment with Friday\, July 12 being a general admission full band performance. \n \n\nMidwestern artist Lissie is a multi-talented tour de force who released her latest Americana-tinged indie folk album “Carving Canyons”. Ahead of the release she has unveiled the first song two songs “Flowers” and “Night Moves”. Debuted by FLOOD Magazine\, the haunting sun-soaked song Night Moves channels Fleetwood Mac grandeur as it explores sensory memory and considering multiple realities vs one’s own point of view when navigating heartbreak. \n“Carving Canyons” is about looking within while dealing with the uncertainty of the future—finding hope in personal and worldly adversity\, no matter what the forecast might say. Inspired by her incredible intergenerational female friend group and the nature that surrounded her\, Lissie traveled to Nashville and co-wrote much of the album with a majority of female-identifying songwriters—including Bre Kennedy\, Madi Diaz\, Morgan Nagler\, Natalie Hemby\, Kate York\, and Sarah Buxton—who also contribute additional vocals throughout the album. \n \n“Carving Canyons” is Lissie’s first full-length album since her UK Top 10 album “Castles” in 2018. In 2010\, her 1st full length album “Catching A Tiger” unassumingly established Lissie as a global voice. Lissie has recently appeared in TV shows Twin Peaks and Loudermilk as well as co-owns the music genre themed popcorn company Otts Pops Indie Pop and is involved with land conservation. \n———Tyler RamseyAt the core of any great singer-songwriter lies this inherent trait of stage presence\, one where an entire room\, no matter the size\, is pulled in by this lyrical tractor beam — all eyes\, emotions and energies aimed in one direction at a single voice. For Tyler Ramsey\, it’s being able to honestly connect with the listener. Albeit a genuinely humble soul\, don’t let Ramsey fool you. When it comes to the modern-day singer-songwriter\, he remains a bastion of musical talent and lyrical aptitude — a melodic voice-of-reason and safe haven amid a 21st century world seemingly gone mad. The former lead guitarist of Band of Horses\, Ramsey has also released four acclaimed solo albums\, including “For The Morning” in 2019. Ramsey’s latest album “New Lost Ages” was captured at the legendary Avast! Recording Co. in Seattle\, Washington\, by storied producer Phil Ek (Fleet Foxes\, Father John Misty\, The Shins\, Built to Spill). The 10-song LP is an ongoing sonic quest — meticulously wandering across the musical landscape\, this undulating tone of indie\, rock and folk stylings.\n\n=========\n\nDetails of Second Show: \nLISSIE (Full Band) with guest LAAMAR (Duo)\nFriday\, July 12\n\nUnder The Canopy at The Hook and Ladder Theater“An Urban Outdoor Summer Concert Series”\nDoors 6:00pm :: Music 7:00pm :: 21+\nVIP Meet & Greet: $107 (3 Song Acoustic Performance in Zen Arcade)\nGA: $32 ADV / $38 DOS\n\n\n TICKETS AND INFO\n \n\nThe Award-Winning* Under the Canopy series at The Hook & Ladder Theater returns with its uniquely seasonal urban footprint to the Longfellow neighborhood of South Minneapolis in 2024. *Voted Best in MN 2021 by Star Tribune readers.—–The Hook has committed to having a food truck Under the Canopy throughout the 2024 season for our guests. \n\n\n \n\n\n“Carving Canyons” is Lissie’s first full-length album since her UK Top 10 album “Castles” in 2018. In 2010\, her 1st full length album “Catching A Tiger” unassumingly established Lissie as a global voice. Lissie has recently appeared in TV shows Twin Peaks and Loudermilk as well as co-owns the music genre themed popcorn company Otts Pops Indie Pop and is involved with land conservation.\n—-\n\nLAAMAR is the latest project led by Minneapolis-based singer\, songwriter\, saxophonist\, and composer Geoffrey Lamar Wilson. Former frontman of Brooklyn-based Jus Post Bellum\, Wilson is also known for his multilayered looped saxophone performances and catchy podcast ditties (Terrible\, Thanks for Asking). On the band’s debut EP\, Flowers\, Wilson blends his idiomatic inspirations bridging folk\, soul\, R&B\, and country with a constant ear toward racial and social justice issues and the shared human experience.\n \n“In the EP’s deceptively sweet and warm title track\, he relays a memory of his mother ‘lighting candles and putting flowers on the boulevard’ in memory of another dead man of color. In the standout track getting airplay on the Current\, ‘Home to My Baby\,’ he relays his personal fears of getting pulled over by police\,” writes Chris Riemenschneider of the Star Tribune.\n \nRecent acclaim for LAAMAR includes debut single “Home to My Baby” being named KAXE’s “Best Song” of 2023 and a nod as one of First Avenue’s Best New Bands. “With Flowers\,” writes Malachy Koons of KAXE\, “LAAMAR has crafted a stunning debut that does not shy away from difficult topics. The new EP features four instantly catchy songs\, with each taking a different approach to issues of racial and social justice.”\n\n\n=========\n\nDetails of First Show: \nLISSIE (Duo) with guest Tyler Ramsey\nThursday\, July 11\nUnder The Canopy at The Hook and Ladder Theater“An Urban Outdoor Summer Concert Series”Doors 6:00pm :: Music 7:00pm :: 21+Reserved Seats: $50GA: $32 ADV / $38 DOS\n \n\n TICKETS AND INFO\n \n\nThe Award-Winning* Under the Canopy series at The Hook & Ladder Theater returns with its uniquely seasonal urban footprint to the Longfellow neighborhood of South Minneapolis in 2024. *Voted Best in MN 2021 by Star Tribune readers.—–The Hook has committed to having a food truck Under the Canopy throughout the 2024 season for our guests. Boasting a fervent fan base across the US and around the globe\, if you haven’t heard the name Nur-D yet you certainly will soon. It’s easy to see why many people are calling Nur-D the next big thing out of Minnesota!—Zora is a 24 year old artist\, producer\, singer\, and rapper. She has been writing music since the age of 14\, taking inspiration after Beyonce\, Janet Jackson\, Britney Spears\, SOPHIE\, Stevie Wonder\, and many others. Originally\, she began her journey as a classically trained pianist\, from ages 6 to 10\, taking after her family history of classical pianists. After getting rejected from the vocal jazz program at her school\, Zora was put into a music technology class\, which she despised. Little did she know\, this class would be a blessing in disguise. Zora began studying the sound and choreography of artists such as Britney Spears\, Janet Jackson\, and Beyonce\, and began creating original songs that she could choreograph to. By 15\, she had released her first EP. At age 21\, Zora relocated to Minneapolis\, Minnesota\, where she began crafting her official debut album\, “Z1”. It was during this time that she began to learn how to play the electric guitar\, working alongside her cousin to help her out with some of the songs. At age 22\, “Z1” was officially released and received critical acclaim\, being Zora’s biggest launch yet. Zora’s main mission within music is to spread awareness\, positivity\, and freedom of expression through art. She Zora has dedicated her career to her mother and grandmother\, who both instilled artistic expression in her at a very young age.—Twin Cities non profit punk band DOLL CHASER started with an idea to give back to the queer community they call home. Inspired by a wide variety of rock and punk groups from Amyl and The Sniffers to Franz Ferdinand\, Doll Chaser combines a lively rhythm section with face melting lead guitar and aggressive\, politically charged vocals with a splash of catchy harmonies to create a wholly unique style you won’t find anywhere else.

SUMMARY:Celebrating Merle Haggard & Loretta Lynn
DESCRIPTION:EVENT DETAILS \n\n RSVP ON FACEBOOK\n \n\n\n	\n \n\n	\n	\nThe Hook and Ladder Theater \n\nDoors 7:00pm :: Music 7:30pm \n\n21+ \n\nReserved Seats: $20\nADV $15 / DOS $20\n\n\n COVID-19 Policies\n \n\n \n \n\n	\n\n	\n \n \n \n EVENT DESCRIPTION \n\n	\n \n\n	\n	\nCelebrating Merle Haggard & Loretta Lynn\nFeaturing Trevor McSpadden\, Ali Gray\, and The DL4 \nJoin us as we celebrate county music royalty – Merle Haggard and Loretta Lynn. This special concert features Trevor McSpadden and Ali Gray\, backed by The DL4. \nTrevor McSpadden and The DL4 will perform many of Merle’s biggest hits and lesser known songs. They capture the spirit of a performer that refused to bend to country music convention and helped create the Bakersfield sound. In a career that spanned more than 50 years\, Merle Haggard racked up an astounding 38 number one country hits and every major award imaginable. You’ll hear songs like “Mama Tried\,” “Okie From Muskogee\,” “I’m A Lonesome Fugitive” and many others that continue to inspire new generations of artists and fans alike. \n  \nTrevor McSpadden worked Central Texas dance halls before perfecting his hard honky-tonk sound in the nightclubs of Chicago. Moving to California in early 2014\, Trevor made short work of ingratiating himself to the Golden State. Now based out of Saint Paul\, McSpadden’s carefully crafted twang is at home in both beer joints and listening rooms\, inspiring audiences to dance and carry on in the time-honored way. \nAli Gray and The DL4 will honor Loretta Lynn’s greatest songs; “Coal Miner’s Daughter\,” “You Ain’t Woman Enough\,” “You’re Lookin’ At Country\,” “One’s on the Way\,” “The Pill\,” and many more! Along with a few Conway Twitty duets (featuring Dan Neale) like “After the Fire is Gone” and “Louisiana Woman\, Mississippi Man.” Loretta’s life story reads more like fiction than fact. A poorly educated woman from the coal-mining hills of Kentucky\, married at age fifteen and a mother at sixteen\, she became one of country music’s most popular performers and broke ground for numerous female singers who followed her. \nAli Gray has been writing songs and performing in various bands for over 25 years. With 5 studio albums under her belt\, Ali continues to release new singles reguarly. When she isn’t writing and recording\, you can find her singing full-time in on of her multiple projects: Ali Gray’s Country Jamboree\, Ali & Joe\, DRUNCH!\, Twang Time\, Martin Zellar’s Neil Diamond Tribute\, Tim Sigler’s All Churched Up\, Parrothead Paradise\, Two Hicks and a Chick\, and Mish Mash.Ali is also a regular guest co-host on the BOB 106 morning show. \nDL4 is fronted by Dan Lowinger and includes some of the regions best musicians:* Dan Lowinger (guitar) – Since moving to the Twin Cities in 2017\, Dan has become a fixture in the local country and Americana scene\, playing on a regular basis with all-star Western swing band Honky Tonk Jump\, and country rockers Cole Diamond\, while also sharing the stage with local greats Martin Zellar (Gear Daddies)\, Tony Andreason (The Trashmen)\, Pat Donohue (Prairie Home Companion) and many others! He has performed regionally and toured nationally with many different country and swing bands from the Pacific Northwest including. \n* Dan Neale (guitar) – Dan is a guitarist who moves easily from blues and country to pop\, jazz\, and rock. Fingerpicking\, flatpicking — he’s got it covered. Back when he was a high school kid in Chattanooga\, he began to think about a career in music. He played in the school band and in a group formed by his brother. That led to work with a slew of bar bands and a full-time stint in country rock group called Rawhide. In 1986\, he left Tennessee for Minnesota (“I married a woman who hated hot weather\,” he says). As a studio player and sideman\, he has worked with Martin Zellar\, Bobby Vee\, and a host of others. \n* Ken Wilson (Pedal Steel) – A Twin Cities treasure\, Ken has played and/or recorded with acts such as Paulette Carlson of Highway 101\, John Hermanson and Chris Cunningham of Storyhill\, John McAndrew\, Becky Schlegel\, and Sherwin Linton. \n* Erik Lillestol (Bass) – Erik is a long-standing freelance Twin Cities bass player\, most notably playing the french and gypsy-influenced jazz of the Cafe Accordion Orchestra. \n* Scott Wenum (Drums) – Scott is a high demand twin cities drummer who plays with Martin Zellar and many others.

Also\, join us to say farewell to Jon as he heads to the East Coast and kicks off yet another Chokecherry hiatus.—Chokecherry is a little group of friends who have been playing a unique blend of fiddle-forward country\, punk and whatever else they want since 2004. From basements and churches to bars and DIY spaces that no longer exist\, Chokecherry has played countless shows yet somehow remain as awkward as ever. See it for yourself. \nConstant Insult: Minneapolis basement lifers Constant Insult formed in 2014. Their driving\, catchy punk rock is built from cathartic harmonies\, colliding guitars\, and frenetic tempos\, all held together with Midwestern desperation and charm. \nFletcher Coulee is named after a ghost that haunted Luc Parker one time so he made a 2020 socially distanced Garageband album about that and other stuff that haunts him including but not excluding local unrest\, rest\, working\, not working\, drinking\, getting up\, and losing your seat while drinking\, and love and lack thereof. \nLuc is a grizzled Mpls veteran of such Grossly underrated local combos as Your Loving Tiger\, Chickadee Mountain Martyrs\, Dentist. and Omega Defender\, as well as forays into composing for low-budget musicals\, foxy boxing\, and such and such. \nJeffrey Robert Larson is a Honky Punk from Minneapolis by way of Wright County\, MN. Jeff has been writing and preforming country music in Minneapolis for close to 15\, and been a part of the DIY music scene for 20 years. Described by Adventures in Americana as “Devastatingly sad songs in the best country tradition”\, Jeff’s song writing uses humor to intensify the sadness he sings about.

The Combo will be performing a FULL night of music from these two iconic funk artists. \nWorld renowned Dr. Mambo’s Combo has been performing weekly at Bunkers Music Bar & Grill since 1987 — one of the longest running weekly residencies anywhere in America. The band quickly became Prince’s favorite — playing soul\, rock\, and r&b music with unmatched passion and fire – and audiences have flocked to their weekly performances ever since. In addition to Prince\, many national touring artists often stop by to sit in with the band after their own show —including John Mayer\, Sheila E\, Questlove\, Stokley\, Larry Graham\, and Bonnie Raitt. \nDr. Mambo’s Combo’s ‘Let Me Have it All’ features a diverse collection of songs across the many eras and styles of these amazing trendsetting artists. He’s also a renowned songwriter\, producer\, music director\, musicologist and architect behind the rebirth of Lower Broadway and the Global Neo Traditional Country music movement. \n\n \nThis Kansas native\, has been at the forefront of what has come to be known as Americana Music for the better part of 25 years. Perhaps best known for co-founding the famed ‘90s Alternative Country quintet\, BR5-49\, whos 7 albums garnered a CMA Award for Best International Touring Act and three Grammy nominations\, helped build an indelible bridge between authentic American Roots music and millions of fans worldwide. \n\n \nSince then he’s toured the globe\, entertained thousands on the high seas\, released 4 solo albums\, made 137 appearances on the Grand Ole Opry\, co-produced critically acclaimed tribute albums to Johnny Cash & Waylon Jennings\, acted as Musical Director/Supervisor/Producer of the Broadway hit musical Million Dollar Quartet AND the companion CMT television show Sun Records. \n\n \nWith a deep connection to Memphis and a burning desire to keep building musical bridges\, Chuck packed up the band and took time out of his crazy schedule last summer to record his fourth solo album with Matt Ross-Spang (Margo Price/John Prine/Jason Isbell/Al Green) at legendary Sam Phillips Recording Studios\, the result of which\, ‘Close To Home’\, was released June 21\, 2019 on Plowboy Records.  \n\nSince 2019 Chuck has also hosted a radio show on 650AM WSM Radio in Nashville called “Face the Music with Chuck Mead.” \n—- \nJason Ringenberg was born and raised on an Illinois hog farm that bordered the Rock Island Line Railroad. He left for Nashville on July 4\, 1981\, to pursue his dream of “making a band that could kick American roots music into the modern age!” Little did he know just how far the kick would travel. He immediately formed Jason and the Scorchers and never looked back. Throughout the 1980s and 90s they tore up venues across the planet and became known as one of the most exciting live bands in music. On classic LPs like Fervor and Lost and Found they “single-handedly rewrote the history of rock ‘n roll in the South” (Rolling Stone).   Their instinctive ability to combine traditional country music with high-energy punk rock has not been surpassed to this day. In 2008 they were awarded the Americana Music Association Lifetime Achievement Award for Performance. The band has an exhibit in the Country Music Hall of Fame.   \n\n\n\n\n\nBut Ringenberg’s story does not stop there. In 1992 the “Godfather of Americana” (Mojo) decided to go solo. He has released seven records\, with everyone from the BBC to USA TODAY lauding his songwriting. Touring the world relentlessly as a solo barnstormer\, The Times (UK) called him “one of the most exciting performers of his generation.”  In 2002 he created a children’s music character called Farmer Jason\, winning an Emmy Award for his PBS program.    \n \nIn 2017 the U.S. National Park Service invited him to be their Artist-in-Residence at Sequoia Kings Canyon National Park. He spent a month hiking the mountains and writing songs. That explosion of creativity yielded two career-defining records: Stand Tall in 2018 and now his newest release\, Rhinestoned.    \n\n \nSo don’t go to his concerts expecting to see a sensitive singer-songwriter sitting on a stool. With his acoustic guitar and high-energy charisma\, he WILL rock the house!

It’s sister event – MUSIC HEALS US VOLUME 2 – is 7-9:30pm on Saturday September 7th\, feat. special guests Mary Bue\, Venus DeMars\, and Larry Wish.\n—Each of these “MUSIC HEALS US” events provides a container within which recent Back to the City guests demonstrate / discuss the healing power of music. Guests are invited to participate in this  series following especially rich discussion of music and wellness with Simon on his show. \n— \nTwo of the musicians involved in this inaugural event – Annie Fitzgerald and Chance York – are wellness practitioners whose healing practices are informed by their ongoing music-writing and vice versa. When our third special guest\, Lady Midnight\, was composing her newest record “Pursuit & The Elusive\,” she simultaneously created a short (healing-focused) virtual reality film\, also titled “Pursuit & the Elusive.” That 15 minute virtual reality film will receive its twin cities debut at this event. \n—\nChance York (still also an active rapper) is now Owner of Connected Wellness LLC\, Co-Founder / Producer of Peace in Practice\, and host of award-winning PBS wellness show ‘Outside Chance.’ Chance is  a recurring guest on Back to the City; we conducted our first interview – concerning Crunchy Kids and his solo rap career – in 2016\, at which point Chance was eager to share how transformative his recent development of a yoga practice had been. Chance performed at the final Mortimers-based Back to the City Showcase on Jan 30\, 2020; ahead of that\, we conducted an interview centered around his 3-4 year transition from rapper – via rapper + yoga instructor – to “energy entrepreneur.” Chance will perform a rap set at MUSIC HEALS US 1\, preceded by an interactive movement workshop. \n—\nLady Midnight SHORT FILM twin cities premiere. Lady Midnight is an ethereal vocalist and performance artist who draws upon her multidisciplinary background in visual art\, dance and Afro-caribbean-indigenous roots to create work that timelessly reflects our collective lives. Join us for the Twin Cities premiere of “Pursuit & The Elusive”\, a short virtual reality film starring singer/songwriter Lady Midnight (@iamladymidnight)\, where she will be joined by directed Laura Robards (@lrcoolg) and cinematographer Brian Skalak (@secondsightvisuals) for a brief talk – curated by Back to the City host Simon Calder – after the screening.\n— \nAnnie Fitzgerald is an established Singer-Songwriter\, Sound Healer\, Reiki Practitioner\, Transformational Astrology Guide\, and co-owner of Under the Moon Creative LLC. Her music has been described as “a blend of Tori Amos’ intellectual appeal\, Sarah McLachlan’s mystical charm and Edie Brickell’s baroque spirit” (Jamsphere). Her songs have been featured numerous times as Song of the Day on the Current\, and her 2023 single release “Anam Cara” was on the ballot for the Currents’ Top 89 Songs of 2023. Annie facilitates Group Sound Journey sessions at the Hewing Hotel\, the Yoga Center Retreat\, St. Mark’s Cathedral\, Honest Yoga\, and other spaces around the Twin Cities metro area. Annie will open MUSIC HEALS US 1 with a Sound Journey\, then conduct a brief on-stage interview with Simon before performing acoustically.
