He currently resides in Minneapolis\, MN performing in a diverse array of projects including Patty and The Buttons\, Eisner’s Klezmorim\, Rogue Tango and many others. Patrick is also active as an orchestral soloist playing both classical and pops programs with top orchestras across the United States under the baton of luminaries such as Doc Severinsen and Sarah Hicks. When not performing\, he is an in demand composer\, session musician\, educator and arranger. —\nSam Skavnak is a Twin Cities based multi-instrumentalist specializing in reed instruments and all manner of pre-1950s music\, especially that of New Orleans and Chicago. Philipsek has been a professional musician since he was fourteen years old. He has appeared on nearly fifty recordings either under his own name or in support of other artists. A versatile and accomplished musician\, he has performed with some of the Twin Cities’ most respected groups across a wide range of genres\, bringing a deep groove and strong musical foundation to every stage—\nClearwater Hot Club\nThe Clearwater Hot Club is a dedicated to preserving the repertoire and instrumentation of the Jazz Manouche style pioneered by Roma jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt.  Much of the repertoire played in this group are songs either performed or written by Django Reinhardt\, though other styles of music such as French Musette\, Brazilian choro\, and Eastern European folk music are interpreted through the musical lens and technique of the Jazz Manouche style. In recent years Sam Miltich has written original works of music in the jazz manouche style\, giving credence to the roots and traditions of the music while bringing a fresh new voice to it.  \n—\nThe Red Hot Django Peppers\nThe Red Hot Django Peppers are a fiery Twin Cities–based Hot Club band keeping the spirit of Django Reinhardt alive while adding their own spark to the tradition. The Combo will be performing a FULL night of music from these two iconic funk artists. \nWorld renowned Dr. Mambo’s Combo has been performing weekly at Bunkers Music Bar & Grill since 1987 — one of the longest running weekly residencies anywhere in America. The band quickly became Prince’s favorite — playing soul\, rock\, and r&b music with unmatched passion and fire – and audiences have flocked to their weekly performances ever since. In addition to Prince\, many national touring artists often stop by to sit in with the band after their own show —including John Mayer\, Sheila E\, Questlove\, Stokley\, Larry Graham\, and Bonnie Raitt. \nDr. Mambo’s Combo’s ‘Let Me Have it All’ features a diverse collection of songs across the many eras and styles of these amazing trendsetting artists. Sly Stone rose to popularity with Woodstock era hits ‘Everyday People’ & ‘I Want to Take You Higher’\, and took a surprise turn in the early 70’s with the genre defining funk of ‘Family Affair’ and ‘If You Want Me to Stay’. \nRufus and Chaka Khan were one of the most popular and influential funk bands of the 1970s\, with four consecutive number-one R&B albums\, ten top 40 pop hits and five number-one R&B singles including ‘Tell Me Something Good’\, ‘Sweet Thing’ and ‘Ain’t Nobody’. \nThe current band lineup features Julius Collins and Margaret Cox on lead vocals\, Sonny Thompson on bass\, Brian Ziemniak on keys\, Geoff LeCrone on guitar and Peter Suttman on drums.
