Intricate but free-swinging\, explosive yet intimate\, fresh and green as grass. Taking cues from the dance bands of western Louisiana (and his native Midwest)\, the streets (and 45’s) of New Orleans\, touring African and Caribbean combos and the soul\, funk & blues of his youth coupled with early\, teeth-cutting experience in the verbal hotbeds of  the coffeehouse scene\, Paul Cebar is a masterful synthesist of rhythmic culture.\n \nCaballo Cósmico is a musical journey into a new genre “Mexican Americana – it’s rock n’ roll on the radio\, with tortillas on the table.”  Founded by Javier Trejo\, a singer-songwriter from Coahuila\, Mexico and raised in St. Paul’s Westside\, Caballo Cósmico is built upon world beat musical influences. Their musical styling includes Tejano music\,      r&b and rock blended to create a polyrhythmic sound that’s infused with contemporary synth\, guitar and deep bass grooves all while recognizing its Afro-Cuban roots. Caballo Cósmico will take you on a journey thru time and space.\n\n \n—–\n\nCome hungry and enjoy dinner with the show! The Hook has committed to having an eclectic variety of food trucks rotating Under the Canopy throughout the 2022 season for our guests.
