Camile Baudoin of The Radiators and Curt Obeda of The Butanes Soul Revue open. \nBased out of New Orleans for the past couple of decades save for a short\, Katrina-imposed exile in Austin\, the members of The Iguanas have (collectively or individually) played or recorded with everyone from Charlie Rich\, Alex Chilton\, and Willie DeVille to Emmylou Harris\, Allen Toussaint\, and Pretty Lights. \nThrough eight studio albums\, countless tours and Jazz Fest appearances\, their two-decade ride has taken them all over the map musically and geographically\, yet the inescapable patina of their hometown infuses every note they play. \n“Like the Meters and the Neville Brothers\, The Iguanas fuse those many styles into a rock and roll funk.”– The Houston Press \n\n—– \nCome hungry and enjoy dinner with the show! The Hook has committed to having an eclectic variety of food trucks rotating Under the Canopy throughout the 2022 season for our guests. Please feel free to tell us anyone you’d like to see serving food UTC this spring! \n—– \nThe Award-Winning* Under the Canopy series at The Hook & Ladder Theater returns with it’s uniquely seasonal urban footprint to the Longfellow neighborhood of south Minneapolis in 2022.*Voted Best in MN 2021 by Star Tribune readers. \n—– \n$2 OFF An Arbeiter Brewing Pint!Come enjoy a brew or two before or after any Under The Canopy Concert. Just show your purchased wristband and receive $2 off a pint! It’s only a few doors down from The Hook and Ladder.*Some exclusions apply \n
