Surly Grrly is a MPLS-based queercore protest band that likes to have fun while loudly fucking the patriarchy. Their live shows are filled with rage, passion, and politically-driven lyrics addressing bigotry, queerness, and misogyny. With a satisfyingly raw 80’s garage punk sound, Surly Grrly uses catchy hooks and tempo changes to rile up a crowd, mixing originals with a variety of bombastic covers.

Mary Jam, combines elements of DIY Punk, Surf Rock, and Grunge to create a blistering sound that will stick to you like day old chewing gum. MJ describes their music as the theoretical result of a threesome between Dick Dale, Nirvana, and FIDLAR. The band also makes bold lyrical declarations in their music, sometimes singing about beer and surfing, and other times lamenting the over-militarization of police.
