CUT A RUG is a new bi-monthly series of “live music and DJs to dance to” – curated by residents Sunshine Emblem -at Minneapolis’ Uptown VFW.
SUNSHINE EMBLEM is songwriter Simon Calder (INFINITIES), lead guitarist Tyler Coenen (Space Cats, Nice Beaches), drummer Ben Johnston (self-evident, Phantom Fields, Lovely Dark) and Ben Zeise (Space Cats).
SHRIMP OLYMPICS began as the home recording project of Austin Lombardo of Minneapolis. As of 2024, their current line-up consists of Austin, Teagan DeVoe, Stone Thompson, Mat Roberts, and Alex Graves.
HOT TOPIC FANCLUB is a multigenre DJ with a specialty in UK GARAGE and themed parties.
DEMON MARCUS is a Minneapolis rapper with deep roots in / a passion for UKG. “He’s one of (maybe the) most prolific artist/s I know. Cool sound. Good vibes. Very real.” – Sean Anonymous, at whose Birthday Show Demon Marcus will also be performing.
* ITF (INTEGRATE TRANSFORM FLOURISH) is a series of workshops on creative living curated by Sunshine Emblem frontperson Simon Calder.
