*Splash!* “Breaking the Dam” Album Release
with Paper Chain & Theyself
—
Twin Cities based singer/songwriter *Splash!* celebrates the release of his debut album “Breaking the Dam” with a special full-band performance of the album in its entirety in The Mission Room at The Hook. With supporting performances by Paper Chain and Theyself, it’s sure to be a magical evening! Get tickets!
With heartfelt, literary lyrics and captivating melodies delivered in a soaring tenor range, *Splash!* brings you musical reflections inspired by philosophy, mysticism, and spiritual practice. His unique warmth provides a balm for your weary soul.
Lead by composer and lyricist Caitlin Benson, Paper Chain’s music is the effortless synthesis of modern chamber-pop with 19th century romantic composers such as Beethoven, Schumann, and Grieg. Caitlin’s writing straddles the feelings of open prairie skies and hurried metropolitan energy.
Commonly known as ‘Doc’ Pat Dougherty is the artist and multi-instrumentalist behind theyself. Getting their start writing songs in a borrowed storage closet on the West bank of Minneapolis Doc has performed and released records with several bands including Fairfax, AK and currently Elle PF.
