RRDB Winter Warm-Up
featuring Kent Burnside, Alexander Craig & The Lifters (Crankshaft), Train Wreck Boys, & Jaw Knee Vee
—-
Kent Burnside was born into the blues. Grandson of legendary blues man R. L. Burnside. Kent hails from Holly Springs, Mississippi as the oldest Grandson and pupil of blues legend, R.L. Burnside. His playing dots the globe and his style is unlike any other: dark, hypnotic, inviting… and very dance-able.
Full-time artist and mid-west native Alexander Craig has serious passion for writing, performing, and recording music. Whether he’s leading a six piece band, a trio, or playing as a traditional one man band each show is engaging and full of life. His dynamic style of songwriting is as broad as his character ranging from swampy gut-bucket blues to sultry dance-ready soul, down home boogie to punk inspired rock n’ roll plus anything between.
Jaw Knee Vee is a one man band from Duluth Minnesota. He describes his music as “Deep fried Lo-fi rawkabilly punk blues surf trash boogie woogie stomp”
