The Hook & Ladder Theater is proud to present another fall burner The Mission Room Meltdownfeaturing 3 of Twin Cities’ finest Rock Acts – The Mighty Mofos, Fret Rattles, and The Silverteens!

When the punk rock scene was in full force in Minneapolis, The Mofos came along and kicked in the door. Hard rockin’ and satisfying, these guys are excellent musicians and stars in their own right – Billy Batson (vocals), Ernie Batson (guitar), Tommy Rey (drums), Keith Patterson (bass), Adam Fesenmaier (guitar).

The Fret Rattles bring their own approach to the sounds of late 60’s Detroit (MC5, Stooges), 70’s punk (Radio Birdman, Sonics Rendezvous Band), and the 90’s underground rock revival (Hellacopters, Dragons). The Final result is straight-forward rock’n’roll that is not retro but instead alive, fresh, and more relevant sounding than ever!

Long known for their eclectic mix of cover songs — ranging from obscure ’60s garage rock to late ’70s punk and power pop — members of The Silverteens have been mainstays on the local scene since the 1970s and ’80s. The band includes: Terry Isachsen (guitar), Steve Olson (bass), Jerry Johnson (drums), Mark Engebretson (vocals).
