Matt Andersen
A powerful performer with a giant, soul-filled voice and commanding stage presence, Matt Andersen has built a formidable following the old-fashioned way: touring worldwide and letting his stunned audiences and new devotees spread the good word of his righteous tunes. And the world has indeed woken up and discovered Matt, helping him amass over 26 million views on YouTube and 28 million streams on Spotify.
In addition to headlining major festivals, clubs and theatres throughout North America, Europe and Australia, he has shared the stage and toured with Bo Diddley, Buddy Guy, Greg Allman, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Randy Bachman, Little Feat, and more.
Anderson nabbed two European Blues Awards for “Best Solo/Acoustic Act”, was the first ever Canadian to take home top honors in the solo category at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, won the CIMA Road Gold award, and has won multiple Maple Blues Awards.
Old Man Luedecke is the recording name of Canadian singer-songwriter / banjo player Chris Luedecke. He is a two-time Juno Award winner for Roots & Traditional Album of the Year – Solo in 2009 and 2011. His most recent release Easy Money picks up where Old Man Luedecke’s award winning, and most successful release to date, Domestic Eccentric (2015), leaves off: four years farther down the road, dreaming about his ship coming in, still a parent but now grappling with the newness of middle age, dad jokes, love for an abiding partner, the death of a parent, along with some calypso-feeling local Nova Scotia history thrown in for good measure.
