Cornbread’s 95th B-Day Party Extravaganza
The Hook & Ladder Theater is very proud to present a very special outdoor concert event celebrating the 95 year-old birthday of legendary twin-city performer, James Samuel ‘Cornbread’ Harris Sr., his band of Friends and some very special guests!

It is has been our great honor that The Hook & Ladder Theater has been allowed to present the past (5) birthday concert events for the one and only James Samuel ‘Cornbread’ Harris, Sr. Each birthday is special at any age, and there’s always been something especially special about this Cornbread guy and the way he celebrates his birthday. On his 90th and 93rd birthdays, Mr Harris released a pair of Live@TheHook recordings. On his 95th birthday, he will announce that his much anticipated holiday recording will be released this fall and his biography (by local writer Andrea Swenson) will be published in the spring of 2023.
However, we have another very special surprise in store, including one special musical guest not seen on-stage with James Harris Sr.
