Minnesota’s original jam rockers celebrate their 21st anniversary with a performance at The Hook and Ladder Theater. The band will perform original songs and jams from four albums with three fat sets led by veteran guitarist Jason Fladager. 

 

God Johnson was formed by former Big Wu lead guitarist Fladager along with Jimmy Rogers on bass, and Scott Roerick on Keyboards in 2003. Later that year drummer Royce Rock and Tim Carrow on Keyboards also joined GJ.

 

God Johnson plays high energy rock shows for people to dance, party, and get a little crazy. They’ve done full on, note-for-note tributes to bands/albums such as Sticky Fingers by the Rolling Stones, Stop Making Sense by the Talking Heads, and Led Zeppelin’s Houses of the Holy. The band is known for its live “rawkshows”, dynamic jamming and creative and inspiring songwriting.
