Pharrell has been widely referred to as one of the most influential & successful music producers of the 21st Century, having had a significant impact on the sound of modern music. Alongside close colleague Chad Hugo, he performed in the hip hop & R&B production duo the Neptunes in the early 90’s, with whom he has produced songs for various recording artists. In 1999, he became the lead vocalist of the band N.E.R.D. In 2001, Sade released “By Your Side”, the Neptunes remix. In 2005, Pharrell founded a Latina R&B Girl Group inspired by Selena & The Supremes. 2x Academy Award Nominee, 13 Grammy Awards from 42 nominations, including 3 as Producer of the Year.
