The Dollyrots

The Dollyrots are a Punk Rock band formed in 2000, composed of wife Kelly Ogden (bass, lead vocals) and husband Luis Cabezas (guitar, backing vocals). They have released eight studio albums and are currently under their own label, Arrested Youth Records. They have also released albums on Panic Button (part of Lookout! Records), Joan Jett’s Blackheart Records, Little Steven’s Wicked Cool Records.

Gymshorts are a sarcastic grin and a pair of bloodshot eyes behind pitch-black Wayfarers in the back row of class, a best friend and a bad influence all rolled into one. Their sound is ragged and raw and immediately magnetic, rough and tumble with the kind of lived-in authenticity of a scuffed-up pair of skate shoes.

Surly Grrly is a MPLS-based queercore protest band that likes to have fun while loudly f*cking the patriarchy. Their live shows are filled with rage, passion, and politically-driven lyrics addressing bigotry, queerness, and misogyny. With a satisfyingly raw 80’s garage punk sound, Surly Grrly uses catchy hooks and tempo changes to rile up a crowd, mixing originals with a variety of bombastic covers.

DJ WRRC is the Whiskey Rock ‘n’ Roll Club MPLS playing the most prime selections before, between and after bands.
