Brace yourself for a one-of-a-kind show presented by Surly Grrly and Eudaemon, featuring unreleased music from Surly Grrly & unique performances from both groups.
Surly Grrly is a Minneapolis-based queercore protest band that likes to have fun while loudly fucking the patriarchy. Their live shows are filled with rage, passion, and politically-driven lyrics addressing bigotry, queerness, and misogyny. With a satisfyingly raw 80’s garage punk sound, Surly Grrly uses catchy hooks and tempo changes to rile up a crowd, mixing originals with a variety of bombastic covers. The band is led by founder & vocalist/guitarist Medbh McNamara and guitarist/vocalist Eloïse Boigenzahn, who are joined by Lou Levy on bass and Peter Korhonen on drums.
