For twenty years the Southside Aces have performed the music of Jazz Age greats such as Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, and Fats Waller, to name a few. They’ve played for clubs, dancers, and festivals in the Twin Cities and throughout the midwest, including the 50th Anniversary Bix Beiderbecke Jazz Festival in the summer of 2021. They’ve released eight albums of jazz including their newest, Minneapolis Bump, featuring all originals in the traditional style.

The Beaujolais Sisters
Singer, choral composer/arranger, and choir director Randi Grundahl Rexroth took the deep dive into figuring out the amazing intricacies of the harmonies of the Boswell Sisters upon the first moment she heard one of their records fifteen years ago. She formed the Beaujolais Sisters, and in their hands the music of the “Bozzies” comes to life.
