Sammie Jean Cohen was born and raised in Minneapolis Minnesota.  When she was little she would often go on the road with her dad when he was a semi driver.  He always had a guitar,  The Eagles and Garth Brooks on cassette along with other awesome music.  Her mom was always dancing to Robyn, Boyz To Men and more!  So she grew up with a wide variety of music that really inspired her love for all kinds of music.  Sammie really enjoys the Heartless Bastards, Frank Sinatra, Taj Mahal and Shakey Graves and is open to listening to everything just about.
